The India Workplace Equality Index (IWEI) is India’s only comprehensive benchmarking tool for companies to measure their progress on LGBT+ inclusion. The IWEI conducts an in-depth study to measure where your organization stands on the spectrum of inclusion and allows organizations to navigate the challenges of embedding LGBT+ inclusion and provides them with a clear roadmap to follow, with a planning structure, best practices, guidelines, and more.
Over the past 3 editions, we’ve helped organizations gauge what they are doing right, where they can improve, and how they can make their workplace diverse and LGBT+ inclusive.
The IWEI also has a supplementary & voluntary Employee Feedback Survey which helps reflect the lived experiences of your employees.
It allows organizations to assess if their workplace practices are enabling LGBT+ employees to be themselves and helping them to realize their full potential.
The survey also assesses whether non-LGBT+ employees feel empowered to be good allies.
Results of the survey do not affect the IWEI Employer Score and are shared in the customized debrief report.
The Index studies 9 parameters across different areas of employment policy and practice. Each entrant compiles a submission, accompanied by supporting evidence, which demonstrates their organisation’s performance against the set of best-practice criteria. The IWEI team then conducts a thorough review of each submission to give companies a holistic picture of where they stand on inclusion.
